Who we are

Days Unspent is a small independent software business based in British Columbia, Canada. You can reach us at hello@daysunspent.com.

Buying it

Days Unspent Live costs $29 USD, once. That's the total: sales tax is included, and there is no subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe and sold through Link, which acts as the merchant of record and handles tax, so Link's checkout terms also apply to the payment itself.

Your license

• Your purchase gives you a personal license for one person to use Days Unspent on their own computers.
• Please keep your license key to yourself. Keys that are shared publicly or used far beyond one person may be deactivated.
• You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute Days Unspent or your key.

Refunds

If it isn't for you, write to hello@daysunspent.com within 14 days of buying and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked. A refunded license is deactivated.

What you get

The live desktop wallpaper for Mac and Windows, your focus line and deadline, a daily line about time, and new styles as they ship. On Mac it runs inside Plash; on Windows inside Lively Wallpaper. Both are free apps from their official stores, made by other people, and we aren't responsible for them.

It's a reminder, not a prediction

The number of days shown is simple arithmetic based on your birth date and the lifespan you choose. It isn't medical, actuarial or any other kind of advice.

Our work

The design, code, writing and look of Days Unspent are our original work and protected by copyright. Please don't copy, clone, or re-sell them, or use them to build a competing product. The quotes shown are from public-domain authors.

Keeping it running

We work to keep Days Unspent available and working, but it's provided as it is, without guarantees. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid for it.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll say so here with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and of Canada.
